Wrecks, turtles & a smile on every dive
A small, family-run PADI 5 Star centre on the calm north-west coast of Mauritius. We pick you up at your hotel, fit you with Scubapro gear and take you to wrecks and reefs that are only minutes away by boat.
Small centre, big family feeling
Bubble is a Mauritian-Swiss, family-run dive centre on the coastal road in Trou-aux-Biches, run by Gino and Sarah with a crew of instructors and guides who know every wreck and reef on this coast.
Groups are small, usually two to four divers per guide. Beginners take their first breaths in a pool before going to sea, the Scubapro equipment is serviced by our own technician, and our compressor gives clean, comfortable air. Most sites are a ten-minute boat ride from the beach, so you are back at your hotel by lunchtime.

35 dive sites from one small beach
This is the map that hangs in our centre, brought to life. Tap a flag to see the site, or filter by depth. Shallow gardens line the coast off Trou-aux-Biches, deeper walls and wrecks lie further out, and Coin de Mire and Île Plate are the big day out to the north.
Pick a site
Each flag on the map is one of our regular dive sites. Tap one to see its depth range and what makes it special.
Based on the dive site map on the wall of our centre. Positions are approximate and not for navigation. Sites deeper than 40 m are for divers with the right training and are planned on request.
Wrecks, rocks & turtle gardens
The north-west coast is sheltered from the trade winds, which makes it one of the calmest places to dive in Mauritius. These are the favourites, with depths, currents and what to look for.
Please don't touch the coral, the turtles or anything else that lives on the reef. Boat times from the beach at Trou-aux-Biches are approximate and depend on the sea.
Filmed on our dives
Turtles on the reef, a descent into the blue and a morning outside the centre. Ask our crew for photos and video of your own dive.
Who you might meet down there
Green and hawksbill turtles are the stars, but look closer: leaf scorpionfish, stonefish, giant morays and clouds of snappers live on these wrecks and reefs. Tap any photo to see it larger.
Diving all year, warmest in summer
Mauritius dives all year. The southern summer from November to April brings the warmest water and the most fish, with some cyclone risk from January to March. Winter from June to September is cooler and windier, but the north-west coast stays sheltered. October to December and March to May are often the sweet spots.

“From a shipwreck to wonderful coral reefs”
I did 4 dives during my stay and all of them were a truly awesome experience, from a shipwreck to wonderful coral reefs.
First and foremost I was really impressed by their safety standards and adherence to procedures. The dives were in small groups of 2-4.
I was picked up and dropped off from my hotel. The guys were very professional but also relaxed at the same time.
Fantastic family-run dive center where we completed our Advanced Open Water certification. The dive sites are all nearby.
We opted for the Open Water Diver (PADI) and had an amazing time with the team. All dives & exercises were carried out in the sea.
Fantastic dive school! From the lovely lady who replied immediately on WhatsApp, wonderful gentleman who picked up from my hotel to the instructors, all first class.
